Abstract

As the imperative for sustainable business practices intensifies, global corporations are increasingly recognizing the significance of integrating sustainability into their supply chain operations. This research paper explores the efficacy of case-based learning as a pedagogical tool for comprehending and implementing sustainable practices within supply chain management. Through an investigation of multiple global corporations, this study examines how case-based learning facilitates the understanding of intricate sustainability challenges and the formulation of effective solutions. Drawing on a comparative analysis of diverse case studies, this paper identifies common themes, success factors, and challenges encountered by these corporations in their pursuit of sustainable supply chain management. Moreover, this paper proposes a comprehensive framework for integrating case-based learning into supply chain management education, emphasizing curriculum design, teaching methodologies, and assessment strategies. The findings underscore the value of case-based learning in fostering collaboration between academia and industry, enabling the cultivation of future supply chain leaders equipped with the knowledge and skills to navigate the complexities of sustainable practices on a global scale.
